The Great Falls Symphony Association Announces New Choir Directors

In April 2018, Choir Director Paul Ritter made the announcement that he would be retiring from the Great Falls Symphony in order to spend more time at home in Helena, Montana. We are pleased to announce that the Great Falls Symphony Association’s Music Director, Grant Harville, will be stepping in as Choir Director for the upcoming 60th anniversary season in addition to his duties as Music Director and Youth Orchestra conductor. Great Falls Symphony Sponsors Municipal Band July 18

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, July 18, for the Great Falls Municipal Band concert at the band shell in Gibson Park. The Great Falls Symphony Association is sponsoring this evening of outdoor music. Bring lawn chairs and refreshments, and sit back and enjoy music with friends under the direction of guest conductors Dusty Molyneaux and the Great Falls Symphony's Music Director, Grant Harville. The concert starts at 7:00 pm, but come early to get a good spot. Now celebrating their 124th consecutive season, the band performs each Wednesday during the summer, weather permitting. Great Falls Symphony Association Introduces New Principal Violist, Alyssa Roggow

The Great Falls Symphony Association is pleased to announce that Alyssa Roggow, violist, will be joining the Great Falls community as the Symphony’s principal violist and the newest member of the Cascade Quartet. Maria Ritzenthaler, who has held the position since 2015, resigned from her role to move to the Seattle-Tacoma area with her husband, composer Sam Krahn, as he was recently appointed to a teaching position at Green River College in Auburn, Washington.
