SYMPHONY MUSICIAN AUDITIONS

We do not accept student visas.
SYMPHONIC CHOIR AUDITIONS
​
Auditions will be held Monday, August 17th, 2026 at New Hope Lutheran Church in Great Falls, MT.

We perform a wide variety of choral repertoire, ranging from major works performed with the Great Falls Symphony Orchestra, to challenging acapella literature. All singers are welcome to audition.
LIVE AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
​
1. Prepare an art song, standard aria, or Broadway ballad up to 3 minutes long (without accompaniment).
2. Will be directed on various exercises to assess range, breath control, intonation, and tone.
3. Sight reading exercise to assess music reading ability.
​
If accepted, you will be required to purchase concert attire (women (concert gown) approx. $65, men (tuxedo) approx. $100)
SUBSTITUTE MUSICIAN AUDITIONS
​
We are always happy to consider musicians who are interested in joining the Great Falls Symphony Orchestra as a Substitute Musician, even if there are no current Member Musician openings.
