Jay Henry Gregg recently relocated to Great Falls after spending a year in Mishawaka, Indiana where he worked as a Family Case Manager for the Indiana Department of Child Services. Jay's love for music began at age 10 when he began playing the cello. His musical endeavors continued throughout his childhood and eventually into early adulthood as he majored in cello performance at Wheaton College Conservatory of Music in a small suburb of Chicago. 

 

While at Wheaton College, Jay began exploring the world of choral conducting through the school's various conducting courses. During the 2023-2024 school year, Jay was selected as an honors conductor of the Wheaton College Concert Choir, where he led rehearsals and performances in the maestro’s absence. Over his time in school, Jay conducted various choral and choral-orchestral works, as well as several premieres of original compositions, including works by Edith Samuelsson, Chris Coster, and James Battersby.
