“Chamber Fun 101” is an annual event presented by the Great Falls Symphony’s Cascade Quartet and Chinook Winds. It includes fun, interactive performances by the ensembles and a popular instrument petting zoo where children can try playing different types of orchestra instruments. Eckroth Music ( generously provides an array of strings, winds, and brass instruments and members of the Cascade Quartet, Chinook Winds, and the Great Falls Youth Orchestra are available to demonstrate how to play and guide event attendees as they try making sounds on the instruments. This is a perfect opportunity for students who are considering taking music lessons and it is also a great activity for parents of very young children who wish to encourage an interest in music.

The Great Falls Symphony presents Chamber Fun 101 on Saturday, September 9 at Heritage Hall, located at Great Falls College-MSU (2100 16th Avenue South) from 12:00 to 1:30pm.
